Lucky" is pure emotion; that
intangible thing that moves us all. Eric has captured it. He's
written it, mastered it, recorded it and now offers it to us in
a tangible form. The release contains 10 tracks that will turn
your emotions from laughter to tears with realization and
recognition." Lee Ann K. Kaskel,

"Hansen's voice is almost schizophrenic.
When he sings a ballad, he reminds me of Gordon Lightfoot with a little
Neil Diamond thrown in. When he sings the blues, there's a little touch
of JJ Cale and well, Eric Hansen. The production is warm and to the
point. All in all, this is a quality set of music by a talented singer/songwriter."

Funky fun alternating with gentle love
songs. If Someday makes you cry, Scrub
A Dub will make you laugh, and I Love My Guitar
will make you dance. Intuitive writing backed by tight music tracks.
A fully entertaining and enjoyable experience you will be sure to keep
by your CD player." Allen Foster, Songwriter's Monthly
"Just received your album-sounds
good! I played "I Love My Guitar" on last night's show because
it fit right in with the theme: A salute to acoustic instruments. I'll
have a closer listen and play more on the show in the near future."
Walt Graham, WSHU/WSUF Radio Acoustic Connections.
AHHHHHHH!,
June 11, 2000 I love all
his music, seeing him in person, talking to him and "dreaming"... He's
wonderful. He makes me feel like a groupie once again.

Foot tappin funky r&b
w/soulful folk & great acoustic guitar,
May 19, 1999 I exspecially
liked the funky R&B style Eric has, which realy comes through in "Rub a
Dub" and "Big Bodied Woman". I enjoyed the humor in the Lyrics of songs
like "I love my Guitar" and the the heart and soul pouring into his
ballads, all this accompanied by a great guitarist. I'm LUCKY to have
this one, Thanks Eric

artistically presented, fun
to listen to and truly realist,
April 2, 1999 I have always
been a fan of "folk" music, but this was what I consider one of the best
I have ever listened to. The subtle ways of the words give the songs to
each listener as if they were written for them personally.
