Hey, Eric - 4/7/08

Surprise! I've moved back to Nashville so we're a little closer. Whatever happened to that song we wrote together? I'm trying to get my catalog up to date and make sure everything that exists gets
copywritten and logged in with ASCAP. What thoughts?

Jane
PS: You're lookin' well.

Hey Eric!!!! So sorry to hear that the touring is going to stop, I know how much you LOVE traveling in the beast! I am still loving your music and Caity still calls you Mr Handsome!!!
HUGS!

Karen Jackson - Saturday, February 16th, 2008 5:50 AM PST
Hey Eric, I always stop by your site to see how you are doing. Sorry to hear you are so sick. Lots of flu here in Ky so stay well. Different businesses we were in but I traveled for 20 years in Sales before I had to hang it up in 2005. I so missed the people! I always say I am a type A person in an XYZ body. Even sick the slower pace has some getting used to. I have finally adjusted and I know with your talents and friends that you will do so also. Take Care and God Bless, KJ

Rosanne Reed - Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 8:16 PM PST
Eric...
Just returned from Grafton and played the cd's...I enjoyed your live music. Have to admit, I had not heard your message before. I am a Gordon Lightfoot fan...I love a good story and one that I can relate to with a clear sense of an appreciation and enjoyment of the mystery of life. My senses were so overloaded with so many wonderful things to encourage me to take care of myself...I just wanted to express...music is the soundtrack that helps me through this "drama" I have been calling my life. Thank you, for being a part of this weekend. "Wake up and smile..." Rosanne Reed

You really have helped me to accept that "I am I..said I"...with love and respect, Rosanne.

I'm so glad I was able to hear you in Green Valley, Az. I hope you are not busy and can play at my Dad's celebration of Life on Nov 17, 2007. My Dad passed away in August and I was not able to go to the service. He was 90 years old. This is my gift ...to my Dad and a thank you to his friends that helped in the 30 plus years that he lived in Green Valley. This celebration is not only for Dad,& his friends, but it is for me as well. You see we had been estranged for years, and these last two years I found my Dad and he found me.

The song about the lamp, reminds me of Dad. I am writing a story about the lamp. You gave me the idea.Never give up, you said and I haven't.
Respectfully, Pat Emerson

I purchased your song "Circle of Smiles" from itunes. My grade one class sings it at the end of each day as our good bye song. We stand in a circle, hold hands, sing and at the end sit down and go around the circle saying our good byes.
Thank you for the beautiful song.
If you are ever near Edmonton, Alberta please email. We'd love to come and see you.

Thank you again for the long trek to the Carson Valley--we are so blessed each time you come. I promise no more "Eric 'toons." With the Cabaret Night in CCity, WINO Dinner, public relations duties and Sunday mornin' music behind me, I remember to write my thanks to you for sharing the gifts of your songs/music/voice with us. Loved your haircut, too. Glad you took time for some hot springs therapy while you were here. Sent your "My Medicine" CD to TX folks--musicians and healers--to be played/shared with others. Hope your Reno gig went well. Look forward to your next trip and the new pearls bestowed upon you to share with us.
Peace/Blessings, td

Well there you go again....coming out with another CD just when I needed the message again. When life once again began falling down around me and I find myself alone, CD Baby contacts me and tells me that you have a new CD out. Up until yesterday, I did not have an address, so I had it sent to my school. It came yesterday and once again is an inspiration to help pull me through. I do know that 'change is hard'and as I go through more change I will hold the 'hand of God' and 'wake up' everyday thankful to be alive. It is always 'good to see the ocean' and I try to get there for the cleansing that it brings. Where I am living now is on a ranch in the middle of nowhere and though it is a 'long way home', I am thankful for the roof over my head and the beauty that surrounds me. Once again your music has touched my life when I need it the most. 'Thank You' for allowing your gift of music to be 'my gift'. Thank you for allowing me to accept the inspiration and hope your music gives as 'my medicine' to see me through. Eric, you have always made your way into my life through your music and I am truly grateful. I hope to catch up to you soon to hear you live again....it has been a while! Too long.... You are truly an inspiration and I am honored to call you friend! Take care and know that you are thought of often. You are in my thoughts and prayers always, my friend.
Love,
Doreen

THANK YOU for the wonderful time we had with you at the annual Idaho Alpha picnic. My kids loved singing with you and listening to thier favorite songs.

They were so excited knowing you were coming, and they have talked of little else since your performance.

You are a true gift to the Alpha community. Thank you for giving my children some great memories.

P.S. - Aria said if I was a "good dad" I MIGHT get to listen to the CD you gave her. I guess I'll have to work on that.

Toni - Monday, June 25th, 2007 7:16 AM PDT
Just having been introduced to your amazing music, I have to say that I'm very impressed!

Our mutual friendmd, Debbie Gueck has been trying to introduce me to you these past couple of days, and fate just hasn't allowed it.

Have an awesome trip back from Denver, and I hope to meet you sometime in the near future!

Godspeed,

Toni :)

Joy Lynn Hertz - Tuesday, June 19th, 2007 3:46 PM PDT
I enjoyed meeting you at Albuquerque Center for Spiritual Living. And by the way had I known you had a medical condition I would never have "imposed" a hug on you, I would have just sent it to you via a mental blessing.

I have enjoyed perusing your website and am in awe of your work and dedication.

Thanks for taking the time to perform for us.

Eric,
Glad to see you're still going strong. I hope that the next time you're at the Fidd, I won't have to work. I printed up your "Singer's Toolbox" as I haven't found another voice coach...but I'm still singing!

Jennifer (your former student from Phoenix)

Met you at the retreat in WI. My son was the one with the big red shoes! He goes around the house singing "I am I". I'm also going to play it tomorrow at by daughter, Sophie's, IEP (special ed meeting).
The precious gift of your lovely voice and special songs makes me almost grateful to be an alpha and to have met you. Let me know if you are in Northern California - I can get you a 'gig' in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains where the air is clear and the hummingbirds hum.
Thank you for being exactly who you are.

Dear Eric,

It seems like forever ago since we jammed onstage to Rub a Dub at Jack the Ripper, and took over that Italian cafe on 7th with all the musicians from Washington Square. I am delighted that you are still making your wonderful music. Lucky remains one of my all time favorite CD's.

Hi Eric, I am thinking it must be getting time to head towards Ft Collins again. Heard you on the radio the other day and wondered when you'd be this way again. Hey Eric,

Jean & I enjoyed your extended visit here in Davis, OK to perform at our AmericanaUnplugged.com music series. Thanks for plaing at the retirement center & the Veteran's hospital. I'm sure you made their day quite a bit brighter. Everytime I go with one of our musicians to play there helps me realize just how fortunate I am and how my personal struggles pale in comparision. It was so cool a guy also with limited lung function and his wife drove over 2 hours from Ft. Worth to hear you play at our series. What a blessing to have the ability to move and ofer encouragement to so many with your music.

Peace thru Music,

Larry & Jean Lyon

Wonderful update, indeed, Mr. H.H.

Thank you for that. It is a gift to get beyond our individual and societal idea of perfection. A gift to ourselves and those around us. It seems you are truly experiencing the moment in this learning and growing process. Your message will be heard, will delight many, and will reach us at our core.

We all share breath.

We are with you.

Keep enjoying and keep sharing.

Peaceful regards,

One, Big, Bad, Fan!! :)

Dear Mister Handsome Hansen, can I please ask for an update on your recent studio experience? No pushing nor shoving for results other than the occasional drooling thought about a forthcoming CD to add to the treasured collection. There is a time and a place for everything. Something old, something new. A borrowed blue song, a sunny tune or two.

~Bestest regards.

Got a ride with a friend yesterday, and he said I had to listen to this cd that he was given to him. Amazing, it was "Real Slow", still one of my all-time, by anybody favorites. Had to listen to it when I got home!! Wondering when and where we can see you in Tucson this spring before retiring in McCall, Idaho this summer. Would be great to see and hear you before we depart the SW. Larry

And, on a more serious note, you are priceless. Your gift and talents are inspiring, and with you on this planet, there is so much more love and joy within all of us. You're presence alone is great love, and your music is the encore! Continue to follow your beautiful heart!
